ThueMi code of conduct and what is not allowed
What to do, what is never allowed and how ThueMi handles reports, explained in everyday language for customers and companions.
Contents
This guide restates ThueMi's rules in plain language for customers and companions alike. The authoritative text is the community rules; where they differ, that text applies.
The spirit: safety, boundaries, transparency
ThueMi rests on three principles: safety first, respect for boundaries and transparency. They apply everywhere on the platform, from profiles and chat to meetings and reviews.
Every service is legal, non-sexual social companionship. ThueMi is not a matchmaking or marriage-brokering service. A companion attends as a friend, and only adults 18+ may take part.
Do's
- Use real, recent photos of yourself and describe yourself honestly.
- State your plans, number of attendees, extra costs and who pays before booking.
- Read and respect the companion's "Được / Không được" boundaries.
- Keep all booking talk in ThueMi chat.
- Pay as chosen at booking, transferring only to the account shown in the booking.
- Be on time, check in and stay polite even when saying no.
For a class reunion in TP.HCM, say when, where, how many people and who pays for food.
Absolute prohibitions
These lead to a permanent ban, blocking of the phone number and CCCD, and referral to the authorities where the law may have been broken:
- Any sale or solicitation of sex, including hints and euphemisms such as "extra services" or "private room".
- Anyone under 18, in any role.
- Explicit content or nude images, including in private chat.
- Coercion, blackmail, threats, violence or weapons.
- Drugs, including adding anything to someone's drink.
- Scams: posing as ThueMi staff, sending a QR code or account that differs from the booking, asking for OTPs.
Other violations
Handled by severity, from a reminder up to a permanent ban: moving deals off the platform; money violations (demanding extra, using someone else's bank account, a customer not paying as agreed); harassment; crossing boundaries; fake profiles; recording or posting photos without consent; discrimination; repeated late cancellations or no-shows; fake reviews; spam; and advertising professional services that need a separate licence, such as paid travel services, under the name of companionship.
Boundaries, the right to refuse, and meeting places
Boundaries on the profile are part of the booking. A companion may refuse any request, even one inside the package, and may end the meeting and leave whenever they feel unsafe, without penalty if a valid report is filed.
No meetings at private homes, hotel rooms, motels, closed karaoke rooms or deserted places, except an organised event written in the booking, such as a family meal or home wedding with relatives present. Multi-day bookings never include sharing a room.
Reports, enforcement and appeals
Target handling times: 2 hours for high (harassment, sexual, violence, under-18), 12 hours for medium (scams, fake profiles, off-platform deals, no-shows), 48 hours for others. Reporters stay anonymous. If 2 or more independent users file high-level reports about the same account within 30 days, it is suspended automatically pending review.
The 5-step scale: reminder and content removal; formal warning and feature limits; temporary suspension; permanent ban; referral to authorities. Steps may be skipped for serious cases. You can appeal once within 7 days by email or hotline, and get a reply within 7 working days.
Safety essentials
- Companions are CCCD-verified and staff-reviewed, but use your own judgement.
- Meet in public, busy places; add emergency contacts and share your location if you wish.
- SOS alerts ThueMi's safety team but does not call the police; in danger call 113 or 115.
- Pay the companion directly: only the account shown in the booking, or at the meeting. Never pay details sent in chat.
- Use report and block; blocking works both ways. 18+ only.
